Motel West

I had checked this hotel out as an option to our usual place. I read the reviews, prepared for the worst, and ended up pleasantly surprised! The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful, even accommodating our request for ground floor pet friendly with us having booked via a third party. I don't know why some of the reviews were so negative about the front desk not being helpful, because we had zero problems. The room was good sized, plenty of space for our dog to find himself a spot to sleep. The bed was perfect, not hard as a rock, and not so soft you think you're going to sink to the floor. I only have two comments on the room and that is that the water temperature in the shower is kinda wonky, so be prepared for it to be temperamental. The other thing was fairly minor and it's the fact that there was a lot of fine dirt across the floors. Something you wouldn't notice unless you are walking around barefoot. If it weren't for those two issues, it would have been a 5 star for the room as well.

A family owned motel at a reasonable price. The room is old but well maintained. The towel and bed linens were cleaned well. The coffee machine in the room was not perfectly cleaned, so we found some coffee grounds inside. They offer coffee, hot chocolate, tea, orange& apple juice near the front desk, which was great! The laundry cost $1.5 and looked old, but it seemed that the day we left they’d change into new ones

We stopped here for one night only. We called ahead because it was late. The reception staff was welcoming. The beds were perfect after a long day of travel. Super hot showers and clean rooms. No breakfast but they do provide free juice, coffee, and water.

We've stayed here 4 times now. Very reasonably priced, clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. And there are always fresh homemade cookies at the front desk.

For the price, the room was nice. We paid $85 (with taxes and fees) for a two queen bed motel room. Parking was free. The room was large. The air conditioner was kind of loud, and the room was dated. But the people at the front desk were very pleasant. It's a few buildings with a small green area in the center. Hotel prices keep getting more expensive. It was nice to find a decent motel at this price.

One of best Motel Hotels we have stayed in. Very clean and I again say extremely clean rooms. The bed was comfortable, pillows great and very comfortable surroundings. We just happened to stop there and called our friends to also stay. After checking in we sat in a large cafeteria style area off the front counter and visited. We will definitely come back and stay. Highly recommended with very friendly staff.

Well, the reviews were right! Counter help super helpful and polite. Rooms super clean, big, great beds and pillows... And at a great price. Definitely stay here again....

Clean room, pretty nice. Beds and pillows aren't the best but I can't complain for 17 bucks a night. I'll definitely be staying here when I'm back in Idaho falls.
